Which class will be the most overpowered in WOTLK??

Warrior-Key bind MS and Hamstright to every key> roll face

Wow, pretty off if you ask me. The only classes that really needs some difficulty increases are:

1) Anything paired with a resto druid. Right now a druid is a better healer in every single 2v2 comp. There is no 2v2 comp where a priest or shaman or paladin is a better healer. This isn't really a faceroll issue, because the difference between a good druid and a bad one is night and day. The problem is that a good druid can have a facerolling partner and carry them to 2200.

2) Paladins - They need buffs so the good ones can compete better, and the difficulty of playing the class needs to be increased. The class is so poorly designed right now all they have is bubble so they can get off one of their slow heals.

3) Warriors - All of their abilities auto-proc. They do more damage than rogues despite being CC'd/kited. They are pretty much un-ccable by the most prevalent cc in the game (fear). They have more stun-time over a 1 minute fight than a rogue does. They have 15 second mobility with a stun. most of their abilities are undispellable --- They basically need some way to make me notice a difference between playing a 2300 war and a 1600 war other than gear. Right now the difference is how good their druid is (most of the time).

*note: there is a big difference in bad and good warriors on 5s teams, but in 2's and 3's there isn't much of one.

I think the difference between a good and bad mage, rogue, shaman, hunter, lock, and priest is pretty obvious IMO. Although there was a time when locks were just /faceroll easy before resil affected dots.

Edit: Also, no good pvp hunters are BM.

Druid is def OP. If you know how to play, you have the greatest potential. Speaking of 1v1, druid is definetely the most imba 1v1 if you know how to play, resto/feral, not sure about boomkin vs non melee. Warrs do get easier with gear, but a good warr knows when he needs to spell reflect, intervene, and fear is hard to time and target at the right time. I think the healers that require the most skill are disc/holy priests, and where skill isn't between night and day as you put it

Ok I'll admit that I was wrong on those stereotypes but I still dont believe warlock is a facerolling class in any way. I'm gonna go over the reasons I think people say warlocks are OP and argue against them.

Instant dots while moving-This can be beat by slowing us and taking away the range advantage. Since they are dots, you still have time to kill us before they kill you. Its not like once you see those debuffs up its time to /forfeit.

Drain Life-If I were any other class, I'd say this is the most annoying spell a warlock has. It can drain through los so just coming out of cover for just a second can be quite a bit of damage for you and quite a bit of healing for me. However, silencing us during that time would stop us from using all put 1 dot and 2 nukes. Also, since we arnt moving, that the perfect time for a melee partner to run up to us if this is arena.

Fear-If you are a ranged class, staying at max range will prevent us from using this. If you are melee you can interupt that easily because there will probably be some push-back going on. I have seen people out range fear very often and just waiting for the time the warlock messes up to run in.

Soul Link-We wear cloth. How else can we live? I have to say, 20% is a bit much but its getting nerfed to 15% in WotLK. Most classes have some kind of survivability talent or ability. Blink, Cheat Death, Travel Form, Iceblock.

Death Coil-How many classes have an instant stun? Paladins, Rogues, Mages if they spec, Warriors have intercept, Druids have the cat form opener as well as the one in Bear form. The only difference is that you are moving.

Howl of Terror-You have to spec in to this to make it instant, I can imagine it very annoying in 5v5. But if the other team knows that warlocks can do this they will be bursted down and without soul link, they wont last long. But I guess thats where bubbles come in. Fine you can complain about Howl of Terror.

So there you have it. I'm sure lots of this will be proved wrong cause I really dont care about pvp. I just hate when someone says in trade chat "ugh I hate xxx class" and I reply "yeah they are kind of tough" and then half the server says "says the warlock" or "rofl warlock complaining about xxx class". Anyway, I think hard part of pvp is things that many classes can do like kiting or getting out of los and other things that make you think on your feet, not just see what your up against and go with a pre-determind strategy.

I don't really understand shadow dance too much. However, I have a feeling that WOTLK isn't quite finished and there will be a larger BUFF for rogues. I JUST KNOW IT!

I just want them to redesign the class. I like how my warlock partner in 2's puts it after watching me 1v1 another rogue:
"I just don't get it, the entire fight, one of you is doing nothing while stunned. And if neither of you are stunned, you're both using evasion and shiv."

I say for PvP:
Make warriors have the most survivability/control.
Make rogues have the most burst/mobility.
Make Enh Shaman have the most sustained damage and have purges.

Right now:
Warriors have the most burst, sustained damage, mobility, and sustained control.
Rogues have the best control for short fights (less than 30 seconds) and control of shaman/paladins.
Enh Shaman are screwed.

I heard blizz was thinking of cripple. Which is fine by me cause cripple doesnt really help me raid. I'm hoping for some kind of ability that makes the dots do all there damage immediatley so warlocks actually have some CDs to use during bosses. Not usable in arena of course.
